Pat Smith was born and raised in Southern California, attending California Polytechnic in San Luis Obispo. While still a student, Smith obtained his General Contractor's license before going on to get his B.S. in Architecture. Combining his eye for design and his contracting/development skills, Smith launched Smith and Co. soon after graduating and began a long string of successful development projects in and beyond Southern California.
